Cancellation & Postponement
1. What is the cancellation policy?
Guests can cancel their booking up to 15 days before the check-in date to be eligible for a refund (after applicable payment gateway or administrative charges).
Cancellations made within 15 days of check-in are non-refundable.
2. Can I get a refund for last-minute cancellations?
No. Last-minute cancellations, no-shows, early check-outs, or unused nights are not eligible for refunds.
3. Is postponement allowed instead of cancellation?
Yes. In special and unavoidable circumstances, we allow date postponement instead of cancellation, subject to approval.
4. In which situations is postponement allowed?
Postponement is permitted due to:
- Medical emergencies or serious injuries (supporting documents required)
- Natural calamities such as heavy rains, floods, cyclones
- Government travel restrictions
- Other Acts of God beyond human control
5. How long can my booking be postponed?
Your stay can be postponed to any available dates within 3 months from the original check-in date.
6. Is availability guaranteed for postponed dates?
No. All postponed bookings are subject to availability.
If the new dates fall under weekends, peak season, or higher tariffs, the price difference must be paid by the guest.
7. When should I request a postponement?
Postponement requests should ideally be made at least 15 days before check-in.
Emergency requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
8. Are personal plan changes eligible for postponement?
No. Postponement or refunds are not applicable for personal plan changes or preference-based cancellations.
9. Does normal rain qualify for postponement?
No. Normal weather conditions or light rain do not qualify. Only severe weather events or official travel restrictions are considered.
10. Who makes the final decision?
The management of Beach House in ECR reserves the right to make the final decision in exceptional cases.
